Swedish Massage

It’s a simple and effective method to relax your body and mind. It is based on the treatment of foot reflexology and involves applying pressure on key points in the foot to get benefits.

Neuromuscular Therapy

This is a highly-specialized form of manual therapy that corrects pain and dysfunction by treating trigger points, muscle adhesions, and fascial (connective tissue) patterns and consists of alternating levels of concentrated pressure on the areas of muscle spasm. The pressure is usually applied with the fingers, knuckles, or elbow. Once applied to a muscle spasm, the pressure should not vary for ten to thirty seconds

Stretching

As it relates to physical health and fitness, it´s the process of placing a particular body part into a position that will lengthen, or elongate, the muscles and associated soft tissues. Other tissues that begin to adapt to the stretching process include the fascia, tendon, ligaments, skin, and scar tissue.

Sport Massage

It´s a form of bodywork addressed toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

Hot Stone Massage

It´s a type of massage therapy that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, making the client calm and allowing the massage therapist to apply deeper
pressure to those areas without causing discomfort.

Graston Technique

Is a type of therapy where we incorporate the use of six specifically designed stainless steel instruments to aid the
clinician in the detection and treatment of soft tissue dysfunction.
Is an evidence-based in method of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), that is combined with
rehabilitative exercise to improve musculoskeletal function.

Cupping Therapy

Is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, Inflammation, blood flow, relaxation.

Trigger point Therapy

Is a technique that involves the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other part of the body.

Chair Massage

Is a style of seated massage that is typically short, no more than 20′ minutes, and focuses on your back, shoulders, neck, and arm. This type of massage is performed while the client sits fully clothed.

Kinesiotaping

It is the placement of a thin elastic bandage made of cotton that has the peculiarity of being able to stretch up to 130-140% of its original length and is used with the intention of treating athletes’ injuries and other physical disorders.

Miofascial release

Is a Technique that intent restore mobility in the fascia and to soften tissue the has become rigid, this technique also remove restriction in the fascia that cause limited mobility, postural distortion, poor cellular nutrition, pain, and variety of other dysfuntions.

Medical Massage

Is a type of massage focused on relieving a medical need, were a professional may use a broader set of modalities, such as Trigger Point Therapy or Myofascial Release, to offer aid in muscle health recovery and where your physician might have referred you and may even have certain requests for your treatment. In addition, your insurance company is likely covering part of your visits, expecting the visits to aid in resolving a specific aliment or condition.  

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is defined as the practice of the therapeutic use of essential oils for their healing properties. Essential oils are extracts or essences from flowers, herbs, and trees that promote balance, health and well-being on all levels. Physiological and psychological benefits of treatment are achieved by absorption of Essential Oils through Face, Bath and Body Products and Inhalation.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a type of massage based on the hypothesis that it will encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. Also known as manual lymphatic drainage, relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels.

Myoskeletal Alignment Technique

Is a system that bring together the most advanced therapeutic strategies to relieve, and ultimately correct, patterns in the body that lead to pain and deterioration, with this therapy clients can reduce pain, avoid invasive surgery and toxic pain medication. The source of chronic pain for many arises from very common imbalances and dysfunctional patterns in the musculoskeletal system. Most chronic pain can be relieved with a combination of skilled manual therapy and intelligent corrective exercises.

H&P Complete Treatment

It’s a Complete Treatment that combines Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Massage, Cupping, Graston Technique, Vibration Massage (as shown in the picture), and Myoskeletal Alignment Technique.

Throughout the different sessions covered by the treatment, the different techniques are alternated to obtain the desired result. Especially recommended for high performance athletes or in cases where the patient has not achieved recovery or pain relief in the past using a single technique.
